EVANSVILLE, IND. ? A three-pointer by Shannon Novosel with 1:46 left in regulation broke open a two-point game and helped Evansville snap Drake's six-game winning streak as the Purple Aces registered a 62-57 victory Sunday (Jan. 20).

Senior Lindsay Whorton (Independence, Mo./Truman) led the Bulldogs with a game-high 18 points. Senior Jill Martin (Norwalk, Iowa/Norwalk) collected her 31st career double-double as she registered a 16-point, 11-rebound effort, while adding a season-high five assists.
