JONESBORO, ARK. -- Paced behind a balanced attack, the Drake women's golf team owned the second-round lead at the Lady Red Wolf Classic, hosted by Arkansas State, Monday.

The Bulldogs, posting rounds of 306-305=611, owned a two-stroke lead over Central Arkansas in the 14-team tournament entering Tuesday's final 18 holes.

Drake had three golfers in the top five paced by junior Olivia Lansing (Dellwood, Minn.) who carded a 76-72=148 on the par-71, 5,983-yard Jonesboro Country Club layout.

Drake juniors Kelly Godwin (Centerville, Minn.) and Michelle Mathwick (Greenfield, Wis.) were tied for fifth overall. Godwin had rounds of 75-79=154, while Mathwick totaled a 79-75=154.

Drake junior Kaitlyn Mauk (West Des Moines, Iowa) was tied for 20th at 76-82=158, while junior Amanda Vogt (Melbourne, Iowa) was tied for 35th at 84-79=163.
