Drake heads to Arizona for stacked field event

The Basics
The Drake women's golf team is headed down to Phoenix, Arizona for its next event, the Ping ASU Invitational. The tournament, hosted by Arizona State, will take place from Papago Golf Club and features a 16-team field. Teams will play 18 holes each day starting on Monday, March 23, until Wednesday, March 25.

About the Course
The home to the Arizona State golf programs, Papago Golf Club swiftly became beloved by Phoenix residents and golf enthusiasts alike, hosting prestigious events like the US Amateur Public Links Championship in 1971. Opened in 1963 and renovated in 2008, Papago features plenty of lush greenery, challenging fairways, and meticulously designed landscapes. The course will play at 6,570 yards and as a Par 72 for the PING ASU Invitational.
