ST. LOUIS,
MO. - Drake sophomore midfielder/forward Matt Kuhn (Raytown, Mo./Raytown
South) has been named the Brine/Missouri Valley Conference Men's Soccer
Offensive Player of the Week after leading Drake to a 4-1 home win over Missouri
Valley Conference opponent Bradley last Wednesday (Oct. 22). Prior to the
victory Bradley had owned an eight-game unbeaten string (6-0-2) against Drake.
Kuhn continued his strong play in
the middle for the Bulldogs, scoring a goal and adding two assists in the win
over Bradley. He has scored 10 points this season on three goals and four
assists.
This marks the third time
(second-consecutive) Drake has had a Brine/MVC Player of the Week selection
during the 2008 campaign. Drake junior Julien

was been named the MVC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week Sept. 15 and senior
midfielder Ryan
Moylan ( (Wauwatosa, Wis./East) was been named the MVC Men's Soccer Offensive
Player of the Week Oct. 20.
Drake travels to Omaha, Neb.
for a November 1 match-up with Creighton. Game time is scheduled for 2 p.m.
