DES MOINES, IOWA ? Snapping Drake's non-conference home winning streak at four on Sunday (Feb. 24) was Missouri, who handed the Bulldogs a 7-0 setback in women's tennis action at the Drake Tennis Center.

The Tigers improved to 8-2 on the campaign following the victory, while Drake dropped its third straight tilt and stands at 2-4 overall.

The Bulldogs garnered their lone win on the afternoon at the top doubles spot where the tandem of juniors Sarah Plowman (Halifax, Nova Scotia) and Veronika Leszayova (Povazska Bystrica, Slovak Republic) dealt Mallory Weber and Chrissy Svetic a 8-3 loss.

Freshman Adela Aprodu (Hamilton, Ontario) won her first set at the third singles hole before Svetlic rallied to win the final two sets to secure a 6-3, 2-6, 10-7 triumph.

The Bulldogs face an in-state test from Iowa State on Friday (Feb. 29) as Drake welcomes the Cyclones to the Drake Tennis Center for a 4:00 p.m. tilt.
