DES MOINES, IOWA - Registering its second consecutive victory, the Drake women's tennis team posted a 7-0 triumph over Nebraska-Omaha on Sunday (March 22) at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.

The Bulldogs pushed their record to 5-8 overall with the win, while the Mavericks dropped to 5-6 on the campaign.

Drake won the doubles point in the affair and never looked back en route to improving to 2-0 at home this season.

Freshman Earlynn Lauer (Wichita, Kan.) paced the Bulldogs to a sweep of singles netting a 6-0, 6-3 decision over Kelsie Olson at the No. 6 position.

Rounding out the victory parade for Drake was senior Veronika Leszayova (Povazska Bystrica, Slovak Republic), freshman Gabriela Demos (Chesterfield, Mo.), freshman Jessica Aguilera (Santa Cruz, Bolivia), senior Kari Sloboth (Omaha, Neb.) and freshman Amanda Aragon (Fort Collins, Colo.) at the Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 slots, respectively.

Drake concludes its three-match homestand against South Dakota at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday (March 22).
