DES MOINES, IOWA -- Fans are invited to bring their four-legged friends to Dog Day at Drake Football when the Bulldogs host Butler this Saturday in the season finale at Drake Stadium

Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.  Dogs will be admitted free with owner ticket, but must check in at the Dog Day table at the main gate of Drake Stadium. Dogs must be spayed or neutered, and must complete a waiver prior to entering the stadium.

Fans who are accompanied by their dogs are asked to sit in Section R. Raccoon Valley Animal Sanctuary will be on-site collecting donations to benefit sheltered animals in Des Moines. 

A wish-list will be posted on GoDrakeBulldogs.com, and includes items like canned dog and cat food, and cat litter.
