DES MOINES, IOWA - For the fourth time this season and first in Missouri Valley Conference play, the Drake women's tennis team shutout its opponent as the Bulldogs registered a 7-0 triumph over Bradley on Saturday (April 17) at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.

Drake swept all three doubles contests with the duo of sophomores Jessica Aguilera (Santa Cruz, Bolivia) and Amanda Aragon (Fort Collins, Colo.) clinching the point with an 8-4 decision against Jessica Buterbaugh and Kelly Donohue at the No. 2 position.

In singles, the Bulldogs garnered victories from sophomore Gabriela Demos (Chesterfield, Mo.) and junior Jessica Labarte (Barcelona, Venezuela) at the Nos. 2 and 4 slots before sophomore Earlynn Lauer (Wichita, Kan.) sealed the triumph earning a 6-1, 6-0 win versus Brigitte Graf at No. 6.

Drake also received victories courtesy of freshman Manca Krizman (Solkan, Slovenia), Aguilera and Aragon at the Nos. 1, 3 and 5 slots, respectively.

The Bulldogs conclude their regular season hosting Illinois State in a 10:00 a.m. tilt on Sunday (April 18) at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.
