DES MOINES, IOWA - The Drake women's tennis team posted its third consecutive victory as the Bulldogs registered a 7-0 triumph over Nebraska-Omaha on Wednesday (March 23) at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.

Drake staked claim to the doubles point after the duo of junior Earlynn Lauer (Wichita, Kan.) and freshman Klavdija Rebol (Kranj, Slovenia) dispatched of Heather Hottman and Samantha Thomas at No. 2, 8-2.

In singles, juniors Jessica Aguilera (Santa Cruz, Bolivia) and Amanda Aragon (Fort Collins, Colo.) extended the Bulldogs' advantage to 3-0 after victories at the Nos. 4 and 5 positions, respectively.

Aguilera bested Hotttman, 6-0, 6-0, while Aragon downed Jessica Hottman, 6-1, 6-0.

Sealing the triumph at No. 3 was Rebol, the current Missouri Valley Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week, who defeated Thomas, 6-0, 6-1.

Also securing victories for Drake were sophomore Manca Krizman (Solkan, Slovenia), junior Gabriela Demos (Chesterfield, Mo.) and Lauer at the Nos. 1, 2 and 6 slots, respectively.

Drake opens its MVC slate in its next match as the Bulldogs visit Northern Iowa for a 1:00 p.m. tilt on April 3.
