TULSA, Okla. - Junior Klavdija Rebol (Kranj, Slovenia) and freshman Jordan Eggleston (LaQuinta, Calif.) made a splash in their doubles debut at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Central Regional on Friday (Oct. 19) upsetting a nationally-ranked opponent to lead the efforts of the Drake women's tennis team.

Eggleston and Rebol opened tournament play netting an 8-6 decision past Anna Buyukyan and Stephanie Gonzalez Valero of Central Arkansas.  The tandem then handed the 45th-rated duo of Janine Weinreich and Stefanie Weinstein of Nebraska an 8-4 loss.

In singles, Eggleston garnered a 7-5, 6-1 triumph over Whitney Wofford of Oklahoma before suffering a 6-3, 6-2 setback versus Weinstein.

Competition in the main doubles draw continues for the Bulldogs on Saturday (Oct. 20) starting at 9:00 a.m.
