Rebounding Key to Wins
• One of Drake's program goals under Giacoletti is to win the battle of the glass.
• In the program's first seven games of 2013-14 the team did that to the tune of a 6-1 record.
• Last season, Drake outrebounded its opponent in all 15 of its wins.
• However the team was outrebounded in 15 of its 16 losses.
• The 2014-15 season opener against Bowling Green marked one of the few instances in which the Bulldogs have held a rebounding advantage (33-31) and lost. The Bulldogs repeated that feat at Western Michigan with a 21-19 advantage on the glass and with a six-rebound advantage against North Dakota (27-21).
• Drake has outrebounded its opponent in five of 11 games this season and is 1-4 when doing so.
