ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Drake football's Terry Wallen was named Pioneer Football League Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Sunday, Oct. 30.
 
Wallen intercepted two passes to help Drake down Campbell, 33-21, in Saturday PFL action. He became the first Drake defender with two interceptions in a game since 2010. Wallen's first interception came on Campbell's first drive. He returned the pick 58 yards to set up the Drake offense at the 17-yard line, ultimately leading to a touchdown and a 14-0 lead. Wallen's second interception came on a deep pass attempt late in the first half. He also had three tackles (one solo) and handled punt return duties (two returns, 31 yards).
 
Wallen and the rest of the Bulldogs head to Jacksonville on Saturday.
