DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University men's golf team returns to action on Monday at the John Dallio Memorial Tournament in Lemont, Ill. at the Ruffled Feathers Golf Club.
 
The 12-team event hosted by DePaul will get underway with 36-hole on Monday starting at 7 a.m., followed by 18-holes on Tuesday. The 12-teams include; Bradley, Creighton, DePaul, Detroit Mercy, Drake, Green Bay, IUPUI, Nebraska-Omaha, Nicholls State, North Dakota State, Northern Iowa and Oakland.
 
The Bulldogs are coming off a 12th-place finish at Badger Invitational on Tuesday. Junior Drew Ison was the team's top scorer with a total score of 222 (73-75-74), placing tied for 32nd. Frehsman Kyle MacDonald completed his first collegiate tournament with a score of 227 (77-76-74), while follow freshman Chase Wicklund also totaled a score of 227 (76-73-78). Tommi Avant finished with a score of 229 (77-78-74). Matt Lavery fired a 75 on the final day for a total score of 236 (79-82-75).
 
Following the John Dallio Memorial Tournament the Bulldogs hosts the second annual Zach Johnson Invitational at The Harvester Golf Club in Rhodes, Iowa on Oct. 3-4.
