ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Missouri Valley Conference unveiled its 2016-17 women's basketball schedule Tuesday, Sept. 6, to complete the Drake University women's basketball schedule for the upcoming season.
The Bulldogs will again host all nine MVC teams in the league's traditional, 18-game, round-robin format.
Drake starts conference play Dec. 30 at Wichita State followed by a New Year's Day (Jan. 1) game at Missouri State. The Bulldogs will host their first home games, Jan. 6 against Evansville and Jan. 8 against Southern Illinois.
Drake also hosts Loyola (Jan. 20), Indiana State (Jan. 22), Illinois State (Feb. 10), Bradley (Feb. 12), UNI (Feb. 24), Missouri State (March 2) and Wichita State (March 4).
The remaining MVC road games are Bradley (Jan. 13), Illinois State (Jan. 15), UNI (Jan. 27), Southern Illinois (Feb. 3), Evansville (Feb. 5), Indiana State (Feb.17) and Loyola (Feb. 19).
The MVC Tournament returns to Moline, Ill., for the second straight season, March 9-12.
