DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University women's tennis team travels to Milwaukee, Wis. for a pair of matches this weekend.  The Bulldogs square off against Marquette on Saturday and against Milwaukee on Sunday.
 
In the Bulldogs' last time out they earned a comeback victory over Colorado State on Feb. 18. Drake trailed 3-0 and 
Summer Brills got the Bulldogs on the board with a 7-5, 6-1 win at No. 1. 
Joely Lomas made it a 3-2 score by earning a three-set win over Keta, 6-2, 4-6, 7-5. 
Tess Herder tied the match up at three with her own three-set win over Riley Reeves, 7-6, 3-6, 6-4. The fourth and decisive team point came down to court three. Sophomore 
Kenya Williams edged out Celine Voss in a third set tiebreaker to clinch the Bulldog victory, 7-6, 5-7, 7-6.
 
Marquette holds a 5-4 record and is coming off a 6-1 win over Northern Illinois on Feb. 26. The Golden Eagles have dropped three of their last four matches. Silvia Ambrosio leads the team with a 5-2 record at No. 1 singles.
 
Milwaukee has lost its last three matches, most recently falling to Minnesota, 7-0 on Feb. 25. Berta Masdevall Masip is the only Panther with a winning singles record (4-3). The Panthers haven't had much success from their top three singles spots with a combined 5-16 record.
 
The Bulldogs heads to St. Louis on March 10 before hosting Eastern Illinois on March 12.
