DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University women's golf team is preparing to play at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship on Sunday (April 16) through Tuesday (April 18).
The 54-hole event hosted by Southern Illinois at the Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau, Mo. will utilize tee times each of the tournament's three days starting at 9 a.m. The winner of the three-day tournament will advance to the NCAA Regionals.
The Bulldogs were tabbed to finish eighth in MVC pre-championship poll, voted by the league coaches. Drake is led by sophomore
Grace Dunn, who is averaging a team-low 77.5 per round. She has been the team's top finisher in three tournaments and recorded a career-best 216 (71-70-75) at the Bradley Invitational earlier this month. Junior
