PEORIA, Ill. – The Drake University women's tennis overcame a 3-1 deficit to beat Bradley 4-3 at the Clubs at River City in Peoria, Ill. on Friday.
 
The Braves won the doubles point and then won No. 6 singles to take a 2-0 lead.
 
Junior 
Summer Brills put the Bulldogs on the board with a 7-5, 6-4 win over Ari Dechter at No. 1 singles.
 
Bradley extended its lead it 3-1 after earning a win at No. 5 singles.
 
After dropping her first set 6-4, sophomore 
Joely Lomas bounced back to win the final two sets 6-2, 6-2 to cut the Bulldogs' deficit to 3-2.
 
Sophomore 
Kenya Williams then tied the match up 3-3 with a 6-3, 7-5 win over Malini Wijesinghe at No. 4.
 
For the second-straight match, 
Tess Herder clinched the 4-3 victory with a 6-4, 2-6, 6-2 win over Natalia Barbery at No. 2.
 
The Bulldogs have a quick turnaround as they travel to Illinois State on Saturday. First serve is set for 10 a.m.
