Bulldogs and Buffaloes to Meet In Boulder

Drake travels to Pac-12 foe for its second contest of the season.

The Drake University men's basketball team travels west to face Colorado Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. CST. The contest will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Network and on radio in Des Moines via ESPN 1350-AM.

Tuesday's game will be the season opener for the Buffaloes, who recently defeated the Colorado School of Mines, 66-57, in exhibition action. Last season, Colorado amassed a 17-15 record that included an 86-81 win over Drake in the Paradise Jam.

Despite that loss, Drake leads the all-time series, 3-2.

The Bulldogs travel to Boulder after opening the season with a 98-52 over Division III Buena Vista Nov. 8. Nick Norton led the Bulldogs with 17 points in the win while freshman Liam Robbins added 16 points and six blocks, the second most in a game in school history. As a team, Drake blocked 11 shots to tie the school record.

Following Tuesday's mile-high game, the Bulldogs return to the placid terrain of Iowa to host Texas State, Saturday, Nov. 17, at 2 p.m. in the Knapp Center.
