Men's Basketball To Face NDSU In U.S. Bank Stadium College Basketball Classic

Bulldogs and Bison to meet in an NFL stadium.

The Drake University men's basketball team travels north to Minneapolis to face North Dakota State in the inaugural US Bank Stadium College Basketball Classic Saturday, Dec. 1.

The contest will be broadcast on MidCo SN and ESPN+. The radio broadcast will be carried on ESPN Des Moines 1350-AM.

The Drake University men's basketball has a unique opportunity Saturday when it plays in the first US Bank Stadium Classic against North Dakota State. The contest is the Bulldog's first neutral site game of the year and will take place at the site of this season's Final Four.

The Bulldogs are 4-1 this season after Tuesday's 83-74 win over Boise State in the MWC/MVC Challenge at the Knapp Center to earn their second-straight 4-1 start to a season.

Senior Nick McGlynn, the team's only returning starter, had one of the best games of his career in Tuesday's win over Boise State with 23 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks. His scoring was one point off a career-high and his rebound and block total equaled a career high.

Drake and North Dakota State have met six times, all in Des Moines, with the Bulldogs winning all six previous meetings.
