The Drake University men's basketball team travels to Milwaukee for a Thursday evening contest against the Panthers at UWM Panther Arena. The contest will be broadcast on FOX Sports Wisconsin.
 
Thursday's game will be the Bulldogs' second of three-straight neutral-site/road contests. The Bulldogs' enter the game at 5-1 this season and have won four-straight games to get off to their best start since the 2013-14 season.
 
Milwaukee is 2-6 this season after dropping a pair of games in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in its last two outings. Thursday's game is the fourth meeting between the Bulldogs and Panthers with Drake winning the last two meetings during the 2006-07 and 2007-08 seasons.
 
Drake leads the Missouri Valley Conference in scoring and has scored 80 or more points four times this season including a 95-88 win over NDSU in the team's last outing against NDSU in U.S. Bank Stadium. Senior Nick Norton made history in that win with the program's second-ever triple-double with 18 points, a school-record 17 assists and a career-high 13 rebounds. Norton owns a 21-to-2 assist-to-turnover ratio in the last two games.
 
Senior Nick McGlynn, the team's only returning starter, has had back-to-back 23 points games and is shooting 15-of-22 from the field in those two games.
 
Following Thursday's game, the team will get its first extended break of the season as the team tackles final exams before facing Iowa State in the final Hy-Vee Classic Dec. 15 at Wells Fargo Arena.
