FLOSSMOOR, Ill. – The Drake University women's golf team heads to the Loyola Invitational, Sept. 17-18 at Flossmoor Country Club in Flossmoor, Ill.
The 54-hole event features a 12-team field including Loyola Chicago, Cardinal Stritch, Chicago State, Creighton, Green Bay, Illinois-Chicago, IUPUI, Lewis, Nebraska-Omaha, South Dakota, and Valparaiso.
Drake is coming off of an eighth place finish at the Redbird Invitational last week. Sigurlaug Jonsdottir finished tied for 14th and led the Bulldogs with a 227 (80-73-74). Haeri Lee finished tied for 22nd with a score of 231 (78-77-76).
Following the Loyola Invitational, Drake travels to Iowa City, Iowa, Sept. 29-30 for the Diane Thomason Invitational hosted by the University of Iowa.
