The second set was equally close early until an 8-1 Missouri run broke a 10-10 tie and propelled the Tigers to a 25-14 win. The third set was all Tigers as they built up an early 15-4 lead and did not relent in winning the final set 25-14.
The Bulldogs aim to rebound from the loss when they travel to Kansas, Sept. 18, for a 6:30 p.m. match against the Jayhawks.
