MADISON, Ill. - The Drake University men's golf team continues its 2018 fall campaign, Sept. 23-24, at the SIUE Derek Dolenc Invitational in Madison, Ill.
 
The 54-hole invitational hosted by SIUE at Gateway National Links will be played over two days, beginning at 8:15 a.m. each day. The event is slated to have 17 teams including, the host Cougars, in addition to Bradley, Creighton, DePaul, Drake, Eastern Illinois, Iowa Western, Loyola, Missouri State, Murray State, Omaha, Tennessee Tech, UNI, UT Martin, Valparaiso, Weber State and Western Illinois.
 
Drake started its fall season at the Air Force Invitational, Sept. 7-8, in Colorado Springs, Colo. The Bulldogs were led by junior Chase Wicklund (Scottsdale, Ariz.), who finished in 46^th place against a challenging field. Freshman Shayne Patel (Edmond, Okla.) and Lucas Scherf (Grinnell, Iowa) made their collegiate debuts in Colorado Springs.
 
Following the SIUE Derek Dolenc Invitational, Drake hosts the Zach Johnson Invitational, Oct. 1-2, at Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines, Iowa.
