Box Score MINNEAPOLIS – The Drake University women's tennis team finished its stay at the Gopher Invitational Sunday, Sept. 23 at the Baseline Tennis Center.
 
In doubles play, Sophia Haleas (Clarendon Hill, Ill.) and Daria Walczak (Lodz, Poland) defeated North Dakota's Ochoterena/Finnigan 6-4 and then lost to Minnesota's Emme/Zhang 6-2.
 
In singles action, Kelsey Neville (Antioch, Ill.) defeated South Dakota's Tranberg 6-4, 6-1 while Walczak lost to South Dakota's Kmoskova 4-6, 6-4, 6-0.
 
Following the Gopher Invitational, Drake travels to the Missouri Valley Conference Individuals, Oct. 5-7, in Springfield, Mo.
