TEAM NOTES

Dayton came into the contest averaging 87.4 points per game, the second-highest average in the nation. Drake held the Flyers to a season-low 78 points. The Flyers were also held to 78 points by Saint Mary's
Drake has now held eight of its 10 Division I opponents to below their season scoring average.
Drake fell to 0-2 in true road games and 2-3 away from the Knapp Center this season.
Drake fell to 12-37 all-time against ranked non-conference foes.
Drake's 11-0 run from 12:30 tp 9:53 in the first half was its fifth-biggest run of the season. Liam Robbins scored nine of the team's points during that run.
Drake held Dayton's potent offense to a season-low 34 first-half point. Dayton's previous first-half low was 37 against Kansas.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES

Liam Robbins scored 12 of Drake's first 16 points of the game, including opening the contest with his third three-pointer of the season and sixth of his career. He followed that with two more three-pointers in the half. He came into the contest with five career three-pointers. The sophomore finished with 12 first-half points and 12 on the evening.
Roman Penn's 13 points marked his sixth game in double-figure scoring this season.
Garrett Sturtz's eight rebounds marked his third-straight game with six or more rebounds and seventh this season as he continues to lead the team in rebounds.
Jonah Jackson matched a career high with eight shot attempts.

SERIES NOTES

Dayton improved to 3-1 all-time against Drake with all three wins coming in Dayton.
The contest was the first between the two programs since 1962.
