The Drake University women's basketball team has added a road game at No. 22 Texas Friday, Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. The game will be streamed on the Longhorn Network while radio broadcast details are being finalized and will be announced later.
 
Friday's game will be the fourth all-time meeting between the schools and first since 1984 in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. The Longhorns won that NCAA game to hold a 2-1 advantage in the series.
 
Drake's previously announced game against Lewis University scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 19 at the Knapp Center is cancelled.
 
Following Friday's game, Drake closes its non-conference slate against another Big 12 opponent, Iowa State, on Dec. 22 at 6 p.m. in Hilton Coliseum.
