The Drake University volleyball team hosts a two match weekend against the Missouri State and the Southern Illinois. The Bulldogs are back in action against Missouri State on Nov. 5 at 6 p.m. and then take to the nets again on Nov. 6 at 5:30 p.m. in the Knapp Center. 

On Monday, Drake fell to Loyola, 3-0. Lindsey Pliapol led Drake with 10 kills, Emily Plock had seven kills, and Haley Bush with six. 

The Bulldogs fell to Missouri State earlier this season, falling just a few points behind in two out of the three sets. Haley Bush set a new career-high with 25 kills and 14 digs in the Bulldog's first meeting with the Bears. 

The Bulldogs rallied SIU previously this season and took home the win in three-straight sets.  Lindsey Pliapol had a team-high 19 kills, Ashley Kuhn and Emily Plock each added 12 kills, and Mariana Rodrigues added 11 kills and 10 digs.

Evansville, Ind. is the next stop for Drake on Nov. 12 at 6 p.m. against the Aces.
