The Drake Univeristy women's basketball team will host Simpson College on Tuesday Dec. 7. Tipoff will be at
6 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on ESPN3.
The 5-2 Bulldogs look to continue their winning streak after defeating Longwood, 104-82 on Friday Dec. 3. Drake scored 53 points in the first half, the most scored in a single half this season.
Junior forward
Maggie Bair led Drake with 22 points. She added nine rebounds and two blocks to the books.
Junior guard
Megan Meyer set a career high of 19 points, 15 of which came from beyond the arc. She made five of nine attempts from the arc and shot 50 percent or greater from the free throw line and field.
Freshman
Katie Dinnebier continues to lead the Bulldogs offense as she tallied eight assists against the Lancers. She currently leads the team with 30 so far this season.
Simpson heads to Des Moines on a three game winning-streak. Most recently, defeating Coe College 91-71.
The Storm have been led by Cameron Kincaid, Cassie Nash, and Jenna Taylor.
Taylor and Kincaid combined for 42 of the Storm's 91 points.
Taylor led the team in rebounds with 10.
After hosting Simpson, the Bulldogs will host Northern Illinois on Sunday Dec. 12. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.
