WICHITA, Kan. – The Drake University women's tennis team completed its two-match trip to Kansas with a 5-2 loss at Wichita State Saturday afternoon.
 
The Bulldogs team scoring came from Liza Petushkova and Daria Walczak in singles action.
 
Walczak struck first at No. 3 singles with a 6-4, 7-5 win over Ting-Ya HSU while Petushkova prevailed at No. 1 singles. 6-4, 2-6, 7-5
 
At No. 5 singles, Kelsey Neville nearly got on the board after winning the first set, 6-4, but Jie Xin Zheng rallied back to win the next two, 6-2, 6-2.
 
Drake (1-3) returns home next to begin a scheduled six-match homestand starting Feb. 19 against Colorado State at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.
