The Drake University men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision at Western Michigan Saturday to begin the Bulldogs two-match swing along the shores of Lake Michigan.
The Bulldogs (1-3) were unable to scratch a point out against WMU (10-1) in the match as the Bulldogs fell in straight sets at No. 1, 4, 5 and 6 singles.
A No. 2 singles,
Benedek Herman fell 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 to Peter Kuszyinksi to almost earn a victory.
Evan Fragistas, the reigning Summit League Player of the Week, nearly did the same before falling at No. 3 singles, 7-6, 2-6, 7-6.
The Bulldogs' road swing continues Sunday with a noon match at DePaul.
