DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University women's tennis team dropped its Saturday afternoon match to No. 41 Iowa State, 6-1, at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.
Iowa State (8-2) claimed the doubles points and then won five-straight singles matches to win the in-state matchup over Drake (4-4). Junior
Kelsey Neville defeated Ellie Murphy, 4-6, 6-4, 11-9 in the sixth spot.
Drake starts Missouri Valley Conference play at UNI March 12 at 1 p.m.
