Drake University's
Tim Lim and
Lucas Scherf have been named to the Missouri Valley Conference Men's Golf Scholar-Athlete Team, the league announced Thursday, May 6.
Both earned a spot on the honorable mention team as a total of 14 golfers earned Scholar-Athlete honors.
Lim was Drake's top golfer for much of the season with five top-20 finishes on the season to earn All-MVC honors. He finished the season leading Drake in scoring at 74.1 strokes per round. A senior, Lim has already completed his undergraduate curriculum as an accounting/finance major and currently owns a 3.45 GPA in his MBA coursework. The honor was the second of Lim's career.
Scherf, a junior, has earned a 3.87 GPA as an accounting/finance major. Last month he was Drake's second-best finisher at the MVC Championship with a 19
th-place showing. On the season, he averaged 77.3 strokes per round.
