The Drake University men's basketball team will meet Clemson, Dec. 11 as part of the Holiday Hoopsgiving event in Atlanta. The non-conference matchup is one of four games scheduled to take place as part of the event at State Farm Arena, home of the NBA Eastern Conference finalist Atlanta Hawks.
 
The Bulldogs and Tigers meet at a time to be determined as part of four games scheduled for the event that also includes Auburn vs. Nebraska, Mississippi vs. Western Kentucky and Georgia Tech vs. LSU. Tipoff times and television broadcasts will be announced at a later date.
 
The game is the second non-conference event revealed for Drake next season. The Bulldogs are also slated to participate in the ESPN Events Invitational Nov. 25, 26 and 28 in Orlando, Fla. That field features Alabama, Belmont, Dayton, Iona, Kansas, Miami (Fla.) and North Texas.
 
Drake enters its non-conference season after earning the program's first NCAA berth in 13 seasons last season and compiling a 26-5 record to earn its third-consecutive 20-win season.
