Due to delays and the cancellation of the Drake University volleyball team's commercial air flight to Jacksonville, Fla., the team will be unable to participate in this weekend's Jacksonville Invitational presented by Hampton Inn East Regency.
 
The Bulldogs were scheduled to face both UNC Wilmington and Jacksonville in the three-match, two-day event. New Orleans had previously been scheduled to participate but was forced to withdraw due to the effects of Hurricane Ida on New Orleans' campus and community.
 
Drake returns to action Sept. 10-11 at North Dakota for matches against Green Bay, North Dakota and Montana.
