Drake University fifth year goalkeeper
Kelsie Stone earned Missouri Valley Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season, as announced by the league Monday afternoon.
Stone earned the honor the previous week as well, for her play against No.15 Memphis.
Stone tied the school record for most career shutouts after earning two this past weekend. She is currently tied with former keeper Kate Stack (2002-2004), each recording 20 shutouts on their career.
Stone also recorded 10 saves in the Bulldogs match against Western Illinois on Sunday Sept. 19. This was the fourth match this season Stone has recorded 10 saves.
