WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - The Drake University men's golf team is set to host the annual Zach Johnson Invitational on Sept. 27-28 at Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines, Iowa.
 
The two-day, 54-hole tournament feature the largest field of schools in tournament history with 15 teams and 84 total players. Competition begins Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start, followed by the second round. The final round Tuesday will have a 9 a.m. shotgun.
 
For the seventh-straight year, Glen Oaks serves as the host of the event, named in honor of Drake alum and two-time major champion Zach Johnson. The par-71 track measures 6,898 yards for this year's competitors.
 
This will be the second tournament of the season for Drake. The Bulldogs finished eighth at the Wildcat Invitational hosted by Kansas State on Sept. 13-14 at Colbert Hills Golf Club. Tim Lim was the team's top individual finisher with a T-18 showing.
