PEORIA, ILLINOIS --
Maggie Bair's 19 points paced the Drake University women's basketball team in their first conference road win over Bradley, 80-56, on Thursday Jan. 27.
Bair led the Bulldogs with 19 points, scoring 14 in the first half alone. She added seven rebounds, one assist, and one steal in her 20 minutes on the court.

Allison Pohlman said, "A great team effort tonight. This group continues to grow as the season progresses."
Drake took the early lead when freshman guard
Katie Dinnebier put Drake on the board 2-0.
Dinnebier finished with eight points, seven assists, and three rebounds.
For the next six minutes of the first quarter, it was a battle between the two teams. With 4:26 left, Drake took the lead 15-12 after Bair hit her second three of the night.
Bradley was unable to maintain possession in the first half, allowing the Bulldogs to go on 17-4 run in the beginning of the second quarter.
Drake went into halftime leading 48-27, with Bair leading the Bulldogs with 14 points.
Redshirt-junior forward
Grace Berg scored 11 points in second half, six of which came from beyond the arc.
Berg finished with 16 points and three rebounds.
Pohlman said, "The contributions of
Maggie Bair and
Grace Berg were fun to watch. They both played within themselves and allowed the game to come to them with some great passes from their teammates."
Graduate guard
Hannah Fuller went into halftime with six assists, one block, and one steal.
Drake scored 18 points off the Braves 10 turnovers and added 27 points off the bench.
Sophomore forward
Courtney Becker continued to dominate the boards when she grabbed 10 rebounds for the Bulldogs. This marked her third game with 10 or more rebounds.
Junior guard
Sarah Beth Gueldner added 10 points in the Bulldogs win, making one shot from beyond the arc.
Bradley was led by senior guard Tatum Koenig who recorded 19 points, 12 of which came in the second half.
Braves forward Isis Fitch added 16 points and five rebounds to the books.
Bradley minimized the Bulldogs lead to 14 at the end of the third quarter, but were unable to minimize it more. During their largest lead, Drak led by 25.
Drake continues to lead the all-time series with Bradley, 63-18.
The Bulldogs remain in Illinois as they are set to take on Illinois State on Saturday Jan. 29 at 6pm.
