NEW ORLEANS - The United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) recognized Drake cross country athletes Adam Fogg and Isaac Basten were recognized as All-Academic honorees for their work on the course and in the classroom. The Drake men's cross country team (3.20 cumulative grade point average) and women's cross country team (3.56 cumulative grade point average) were given All-Academic recognition as well.

Teams qualified for this honor by having above the required cumulative 3.0 GPA, while the individual winners possessed above a 3.25 GPA and had to finish in the top-25 in their respective NCAA Regional Championship or an All-American at the NCAA Championship.
