DES MOINES, IOWA – The Drake University women's tennis team defeated Wichita State, 4-2, on Saturday Jan. 29.
 
The Bulldogs won three of their six singles matches and two of their doubles match. One singles and one doubles match were marked incomplete.
 
Bulldog duo Mille Haagensen and Darinka Stepan defeated Wichita State's Clara Whitaker and Jessie Zheng, 6-0.
 
Rebecca Ehn and Ines Stephani also defeated their opponent 6-0.
 
Haagensen and Stephani also won their sinlges match against Wichita State.
 
Haagensen defeated the Shocker's Jessie Zheng, 6-3, 6-7, 6-1.
 
Stepahn defeated Harriet Hamilton, 7-5, 6-3.
 
The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday Feb. 5 at 11am as they host Nebraska Kearny.
