POWELLS POINT, N.C. – The Drake men's golf team concluded its fall season with the final round of the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate at Kilmarlic Golf Club (Par 71) Tuesday, Oct. 25. The Bulldogs (293-310-286-889) moved up a couple of spots to 13^th as a team.
 
"I'm proud of how the guys bounced back today," head coach Matt Lewis said. "All five guys were focused to end the tournament on a good note. We are disappointed where we ended up overall but we played well two out of the three rounds."
 
Lucas Scherf (73-72-73-218) was consistent all tournament long to finish in a tie for 20^th. Jack Dumas (73-79-69-221) turned in Drake's tournament-low score of 69 in round three.
 
Nick Pittman (73-81-71-225) was even on the final day to wrap up just ahead of Shayne Patel (74-78-74-226). Cale Leonard (84-84-73-241) had his best round of the event by 11 strokes.
 
The 2023 Drake men's golf spring schedule will be announced at a later date.
