DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake rowing team added Camille Gretter during the fall signing period, head coach Charlie DiSilvestro announced on Thursday, Nov. 10.
 
"I've been recruiting Camille for the past two years," DiSilvestro said. "She kept impressing me with her maturity and boat-handling skills. She has a desire to do everything she can to help her boat win."
 
Gretter has been competing for Hawkeye Community Rowing where she earned numerous honors last year including first place in the Iowa Games women's junior 4+. She also contributed four second place finishes in various events at Iowa Chase this past season.
 
"Camille comes from a great rowing team in Iowa City led by Amy Smith," DiSilvestro said. "I have a lot of respect for the way Coach Smith prepares her athletes for the collegiate level of our sport."
 
Gretter will join Bulldog rowing for the 2023-24 season.
