DES MOINES, Iowa – Drake senior Louis Yuill of the Drake men's soccer team was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team earlier today. The organization (formerly CoSIDA) recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

Yuill is an Accounting major from London, England and a key contributor on the Bulldog men's soccer team. Yuill started and played in every game for Drake this season while logging 1,177 minutes on the pitch. He was Drake's third-leading scorer with six points on two goals and two assists. Yuill scored the Bulldogs' lone goal in a 1-1 draw at Big Ten foe Wisconsin on Oct. 10.

During his academic career, Yuill has earned a 3.66 grade point average and been named to the Dean's List every semester.
