STILLWATER, Okla. – Isaac Basten represented the Drake cross country team at the NCAA Cross Country National Championships at the Greiner Family Cross Country Course Saturday, Nov. 19.
Basten returned to the National Championships after placing ninth at the Midwest Regional. The Buffalo, Minn., native finished in 192
nd place with a 10K time of 30:58.0.
"It was a tough day in Stillwater," head coach
Jay Koloseus said. "The pace went out fast. That coupled with the hills and two 10K races in quick succession made it quite difficult. I am extremely proud of Isaac for his entire season. I commend him for fighting the entire way today without giving up. I cannot wait to start training for the track and field season with him and the entire Bulldog squad."
The 2022 Drake cross country season has now officially ended.
