STILLWATER, Okla. – Drake cross country traveled to the Sooner State for the 2025 NCAA Midwest Regional meet on Friday morning. The women began the day with a 6K race before the men competed on a 10K course.
Anastasia Kirillov led the Drake women with a top 60 finish and a time of 21:47.8.
Breanna Burak followed with a 6K run of 22:04.3.
The Bulldog women's finishers continued with
Kayci Martensen crossing in 23:04.3,
Austra Osina in 23:10.6,
Sophia Agan in 23:18.1,
Anika Mohrhauser in 23:48.7, and
Ella Brown in 24:14.8.
Drake's men's group was paced by
Brenden Heitzig with a 10K mark of 31:37.8, good enough for 37th place.
Aidan Palmer also added a top 50 result in 31:56.3.
The Bulldog men were rounded out by
Aziz Jdai in 33:36.3,
John Moellers in 34:06.4,
Xander Kwa in 34:21.8,
Daghyn True in 34:48.4, and
Aidan Simon in 36:10.5.
