Details about Drake's signees…

"Shannon is a consummate student-athlete and teammate. She carries a 4.1 grade point average and has worked very hard on her game and athleticism. Shannon is a person of high-character and well-respected by her peers. She is dependable and level-headed and always puts her team first." – Julie Stewart, Wayzata Head Coach

"Drake is getting an exceptional student-athlete in Shannon Fornshell. Shannon is clearly an impressive and versatile basketball player but also an outstanding teammate and young woman of the highest character and integrity." – Ellen Weis, MN Metro Stars Executive Director

"Brooklin has a high basketball I.Q. and is very versatile. She can play with her back to the basket or out on the perimeter on offense. Her quickness and strength allow her to guard all five positions. Brooklin's unselfishness, coupled with her court awareness and shooting ability, fits very well with the offensive style that Drake plays." – Tracy Dailey, Southeast Polk Head Coach

"Brooklin Dailey started with us around seventh grade and has been great to have in our program. She comes from a great sports family with her mom being an excellent basketball coach, brother playing Division I football at Arkansas State, and a dad that just loves to win. Brooklin knows how to compete and loves to win, which is always a good quality in a player. She will fit in great with Drake as a wing that can shoot the three as well as cut to the rim. She is very skilled for her size and will continue to improve on those skills. She is a tough defender and rebounder, too, which will add some variety to the Drake lineup. Above all that, Brooklin is a great kid. She will excel in academics and have a great impact in her future community. I'm excited to watch Brooklin in a Bulldog uniform and follow her career." – Dickson Jensen, All Iowa Attack President

"We are extremely excited to add these two women to our Bulldog family. Brooklin and Shannon make up another class that adds to our already established culture and community. Brooklin has a high basketball I.Q., sees the floor really well, is versatile, and when she plays, you can tell she loves this game. She figures out ways to help her team win and she's a fantastic fit for our program. Shannon has a very high motor, is athletic and versatile, and has a competitive drive and passion for the game. She figures out ways to impact the game however her team needs her, and we are ecstatic that she is a Drake Bulldog." – Suzie Glazer Burt Drake Women's Basketball Head Coach Allison Pohlman
