Anna Miller and
Megan Meyer each tallied 16 points in the Drake women's basketball win, 73-68, over UNI Saturday afternoon.

The duo were leading the Bulldogs in scoring and rebounding throughout the game
Miller, the freshman forward, fell just short of a double-double when she grabbed nine rebounds in addition to her 16 points. She led Drake with four offensive boards and five defensive boards.
Meyer grabbed five boards in addition to her 16 points. She also grabbed three steals to lead Drake.
The meeting was similar to the two teams first one this season, when junior forward
Maggie Bair won the tip and redshirt-junior
Grace Berg was the first Bulldog to score with a layup.
Meyer then scored back-to-back layups for Drake to lead 6-1.
With 1:01 left in the first quarter UNI took the lead, 12-10, with a Bre Gunnel's layup.
The Bulldogs went into halftime trailing the Panthers by nine after struggling to regain the lead in the second quarter.
Drake came out of halftime hungry and scored 26 points in the third quarter to lead 53-52 going into the fourth.
UNI added five turnovers to their 10 from the first half in the third quarter, giving Drake the opportunity to score nine points from them.
Berg opened the fourth quarter with a shot from beyond the arc to increase the Bulldogs lead to four.
UNI's Karli Rucker was hot shooting in the second half, scoring 17 of her 19 points. She made a jumper with 7:58 to go, to minimize the Bulldogs lead to two.
The Panthers tied the game 58-58 with under seven minutes to go. They then took a five point lead, to which Berg and
Maddie Petersen retaliated.
Berg scored a three and less than 30 seconds made a layup to decrease the Panthers lead to only three, 66-63.
Petersen then hit a three to tie the game with 3:25 to go.
Rucker made a fast break layup on the Panthers next possession to take back the lead, 68-66, but the Bulldogs managed to stop their scoring for the afternoon then.
Miller made a layup and drew the foul to make it a three point play and with 20 seconds left, Meyer hit a three to secure the win for the Bulldogs.
Pohlman said, "Anna was a spark today both offensively and defensively. She was able to adjust as the game went on and it's impressive to watch her continue to grow."
Berg added 15 points for Drake. Combined with Meyer and Miller, the trio recorded 47 of the Bulldogs 73 points.
Petersen added five points and five assists for Drake.
The Bulldogs return to their home court to host Illinois State and Bradley, starting Friday Feb. 25.
