DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Drake University women's tennis team fell to Wisconsin, 4-0 Saturday afternoon. 

The Bulldogs fell short in the doubles portion of the afternoon as two duos split points for the first few serves. Liza Petushkova was the closest Bulldog to winning their singles match. She fell to Ava Markham 6-4, 6-3.

Petushkova earned Missouri Valley Conference Singles Player of the Week on Monday March 7 for her three match win streak. 

The Bulldogs are now 1-1 in series history against Wisconsin and the loss snapped Drake's 3-match win streak.

Drake returns to action on March 15 at Arizona.
