OMAHA, Nebraska, -- The Drake University women's tennis team defeated Creighton, 4-3, Saturday afternoon in Omaha. 

Drake snapped Creighton's four-match winning-streak with the narrow win. 

The Bulldogs opened up the afternoon with two wins in doubles play. Ines Stephani and Rebecca Ehn defeated their opponent 6-2. 

Mille Haagensen and Darinka Stepan swept Meredith Benson and Gabby O'Connor, 6-0. 

The Bulldogs continued their success in singles play where they picked up three wins. 

Stephani defeated Valerie Negin, 6-2, 7-5. Stepan also defated her opponent, Benson, 6-3, 6-3. 

Kelsey Neville defeated Gabby O'Connor 6-2 in match one. O'Connor was forced to retire in match two due to injury, giving Neville the win 3-1. 

The Bulldogs return to action Sunday March 27 at 11am as they take on Omaha.
