DES MOINES, IOWA – The Drake University women's tennis team won its third straight match as they defeated Milwaukee, 6-1 Saturday afternoon.
 
The Bulldogs found immediate success as they won all three doubles matches.
 
Liza Petushkova and Daria Walczak went on a four point rally against Milwaukee duo Greta Carbone and Iva Stejskalova. The Bulldog duo finished with a 6-2 win over the Panther duo.
 
Petushkova was one of two Bulldogs to have their singles match go to three sets.
 
She won set one 6-2 over Carbone, as she went on a three point rally. Petushkova fell in set two 6-1, but came out on top in set three to win the overall match.
 
The Panthers lone point came from Mayya Perova, who defeated Ines Stephani, 0-6, 6-2, 7-6. Perova swept Stephani in set one and finished on top in set three.
 
The Bulldogs return to action Saturday March 12, as they host Wisconsin.
