Drake women's basketball guard Katie Dinnebier earned her second Missouri Valley Conference Newcomer of the Week honor, as announce by the league on Monday March 7. 

The freshman from Waukee, Iowa earned the honor after recording a career high 20 points against Indiana State on Saturday March 5. 

She helped the Bulldogs make a comeback from what was once a 15 point Sycamore lead by making shots, drawing fouls, and setting up keys plays. 

The Bulldogs return to action Thursday March 10 as they take on Bradley at the Hoops in the Heartland Tournament in Moline, Ill.
